Bookings are subject to availability, full payment confirms a booking, prices are quoted in South African Rand, and safaris/transfers are not private unless specifically booked as private. Booking Terms & Conditions
These Booking Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Mthunzi Tours and Safaris, including but not limited to safaris, day tours, private tours, shuttle services, airport transfers, accommodation packages and related tourism services.
By making a booking with Mthunzi Tours and Safaris, the client confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these terms.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once Mthunzi Tours and Safaris has received full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Where payment is not received by the required due date, Mthunzi Tours and Safaris reserves the right to release the booking without further notice.
A full itinerary, booking confirmation or service details will be provided once services are confirmed.
2. Prices and Rates
All rates are quoted in South African Rand / ZAR.
Prices are quoted per person unless otherwise stated.
All rates are subject to availability and may change without prior notice due to changes by third-party suppliers, park authorities, accommodation providers, fuel increases, conservation fees, exchange rate changes or other operational factors outside the control of Mthunzi Tours and Safaris.
3. Services Included and Excluded
Unless clearly stated in the package or product description, the following may be excluded from the quoted price:
Conservation fees, park entry fees, gate fees, transfer costs, meals, drinks, gratuities, optional activities, travel insurance, medical insurance, personal expenses, visas, flights and any additional services not specifically listed as included.
4. Minimum Booking Numbers
A minimum of 2 clients may apply to selected tours, safaris or transfers unless otherwise indicated.
Where a minimum number is required and the minimum is not reached, Mthunzi Tours and Safaris may offer the client an alternative date, alternative service, private upgrade option or refund where applicable.
5. Private and Shared Services
Safaris, tours and transfers are not private unless specifically booked and paid for as a private service.
Shared services may include other guests and may involve scheduled pickup times, shared vehicles and set departure times.
6. Third-Party Suppliers
Mthunzi Tours and Safaris may use third-party suppliers, including accommodation providers, activity operators, transfer providers, park authorities, private reserves and other service partners.
Where third-party suppliers are used, their own terms, conditions, cancellation rules and operational requirements may also apply.
Mthunzi Tours and Safaris reserves the right to use an alternative supplier of similar standard where necessary due to availability, safety, operational requirements or circumstances beyond our control.
7. Accommodation and Itinerary Changes
Accommodation mentioned in an itinerary is subject to availability at the time of booking.
If the listed accommodation is unavailable, Mthunzi Tours and Safaris may offer alternative accommodation of a similar standard where possible.
Routes, activities and itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, park rules, safety concerns, gate times, availability, wildlife movement or other operational reasons.
8. Wildlife Sightings
Mthunzi Tours and Safaris cannot guarantee specific animal sightings, Big Five sightings or animal interaction.
All wildlife is viewed in its natural environment, and sightings depend on nature, weather, animal movement and park conditions.
9. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing correct booking details, including full names, contact details, pickup location, flight details, travel dates, number of guests, ages of children, luggage requirements and any medical or mobility concerns.
Mthunzi Tours and Safaris will not be responsible for delays, missed services or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking, paying an invoice, completing an online checkout or participating in a service, the client accepts these Booking Terms & Conditions.
